Kylie and Joe at Etre Farms

Updated: Apr 9

When Kylie and Joe said their vows in May 2025, their wedding was anything but ordinary. Surrounded by family and friends, they created a day filled with warmth, creativity, and thoughtful touches that made their celebration truly memorable. As someone who had the

honor of contributing to their special day through live painting and guest entertainment, I want to share the highlights that made their wedding stand out as a perfect blend of love, luxury, and fun.

A Personal Touch from the Start

Kylie’s father crafted the wedding arch that framed their ceremony, adding a deeply personal and heartfelt element to the setting. This simple yet meaningful detail set the tone for a day where every aspect was intentional and full of love. The arch wasn’t just a backdrop; it was a symbol of family support and craftsmanship that guests admired throughout the event.

Entertainment for every guest

Kylie and Joe wanted to make sure their guests felt cared for and entertained during cocktail hour. I was honored to create guest portraits, a unique form of entertainment that allowed friends and family to see themselves captured in watercolor sketches. This interactive experience sparked conversations and laughter, making the cocktail hour lively and engaging.

Incorporating special moments

The couple surprised everyone with Mascot Donkeys from Tipsy Burros dressed in their favorite sports paraphernalia. These charming animals added a playful and unexpected twist to the celebration. To honor this fun detail, I painted a portrait of one of the "Beer Burros", which was displayed for guests to enjoy throughout the evening. This live painting became a conversation piece and a memorable keepsake that perfectly captured the spirit of the

day.

Etre Farms: A Venue That Defines Luxury

The wedding took place at Etre Farms, an all inclusive upscale venue that redefines what a barn wedding can be. Unlike typical rustic barns, Etre Farms offers a classy, atmosphere with crystal chandeliers, and modern amenities like a top-notch kitchen, a speakeasy inspired bar, spacious Bride and Groom suites, beautiful powder rooms, and an elevated dance floor. The Great Room, where the reception was held, left a lasting impression on everyone with its elegant design and spacious layout.

Nicole and Mark, the owners of Etre Farms, are dedicated to providing exceptional service. Even though they have an extensive staff, Mark personally showed me to the live painting area that had been thoughtfully prepared and even carried my supplies! Throughout the day, the staff checked in regularly to ensure I had everything I needed. Their attention to detail and genuine kindness made working at the venue an absolute pleasure.

The Magic of Live Painting as a Wedding Gift

Live painting is more than just entertainment; it’s a meaningful wedding gift that captures moments in a way photos cannot. For Kylie and Joe, this service was provided as a gift and

the live paintings are still a topic of conversation in their circle almost a year later.

Live paintings make wonderful gifts not only from the couple to the guests, but also from family members who want to gift something truly special to the Bride and Groom. These paintings become treasured heirlooms that couples can display in their homes, reminding them of the joy and laughter shared on their wedding day.

Creating Lasting Memories

Kylie and Joe’s wedding was a beautiful example of how thoughtful details and personalized

touches can elevate a celebration. From the handcrafted arch to the lively guest portraits and the playful "Beer Burros", every element was designed to create lasting memories.

The combination of luxury, entertainment, and heartfelt moments made this wedding stand out. It’s clear that when couples invest in meaningful experiences and quality venues like Etre Farms, their special day becomes unforgettable not only for themselves but also for everyone who attends.
